Engagement Shoot!

Hey Lovies! I feel like I've been gone for so long.....and I have. It has been crazy busy planning this wedding and pre wedding events but I also have been enjoying my fiance and trying to plan our new life after the wedding. I'm back to share some of our engagement pictures. James and I knew that we wanted a indoor studio look and outdoor. We let our photographer know our vision and he chose our outdoor location, which was the piedmont park. I strongly recommend Piedmont park for any outdoor shoots because there are so many places to shoot and the natural lighting was perfect there. Our photographer had some ideas in mind and we just went with what he suggested. I'm so happy with the shots that he chose, all the shots were pretty much natural and not forced posed looks(I'm allergic to cheesy).

Our photograhper is bp_photog check him out on Instagram and tell him Herrunwayy sent ya!
Thanks Again Brandon Perry Photography!

BUDGET! BUDGET! BUDGET!

Hey lovies! Planning a wedding can be stressful if not knowing what you want. What I've dealt with in these past two weeks is trying to figure out logistics in what my fiancĂ© and I want to spend. What helped us the most is knowing our guest count, which can be hard if you come from a big Haitian family like myself. What we are doing is sticking to a 100 guest count so that we can have an intimate environment with people that we love the most and support our relationship. I really wanted a low key but well designed reception. In that case we had to cut some fat and that was the guest count. In the end our food, venue and design will be bomb! It also helps when you have a fiancĂ© that supports anything I really really want. Wedding's can definitely be expensive, so make sure you are smart with your coin honey!

In the next post I'll share my dress shopping experience and how to shop for your dream gown on a budget:)

Wedding Planning Bible Must Have

Hey there my fellow engaged  lovies! I'm  super excited to share my journey of planning my big day with you. It's  going to be a lot of work but I  am sure it's all worth it in the end. So to begin anything you must start with orginization. My sister gifted me this wedding planning book and it's  basically my second bible. It has everything  you  need to know about planning your wedding, where  to start planning and addresses all your needs for your big day. She purchased this at Michael's for $34.00, and yes it's  worth it for that price. With this book, I was able to have my venues  picked and budget set so far. So this is my first little tip, hope this saved you a lot of stress. Until next time.....
