SHOPPING FOR HER EVENT

SPRING 2014

We are so excited to share photos from our very first fashion show! We hosted a shopping event at an upscale resale store in our town called The Exchange. The purpose of this show was to showcase looks under $100 for the spring. The theme was all different types of women in their aspects of life. We didn't want to work with tall thin models, although  they're beautiful it does not relate to the every day woman. Instead we chose models that are all different shades, shapes and sizes....and they looked stunning.

As far as the makeup Whittpks went for a very natural look, with a light contour and a bronzey glow on the cheeks. On the eyes she chose a neutral color with a wing tip liner. On the lips she brightened it up with a bold red or a coral pink, based on the skin tone of the model.

Whittley and Tahana

The first half of the show was more like a trunk show, where Tahana talked about the trends each model was wearing, where they would wear their outfit and how much the entire outfit cost. Whittley spoke on how we came up with  the inspiration for the looks, and makeup.
